Nolan Carroll was having a career year until breaking his ankle on Thanksgiving Day.
Carroll opened up about his rehab process Thursday and what his expectations are for the upcoming season.
Carroll started the first 11 games for Philadelphia before suffering his injury against the Detroit Lions. The 29-year-old recorded 57 tackles to go with a pair of interceptions a year ago.
His injury allowed rookie cornerback Eric Rowe to see important snaps as a rookie and he certainly held his own. He’s expected to be one of the two starting cornerbacks this season. Carroll might start opposite of him. He signed a one-year deal with the Eagles during the offseason.
