Ron Jaworski and Donovan McNabb shared their thoughts via CSN Philly on the Eagles’ tricky quarterback situation and how it will impact Sam Bradford and Carson Wentz this upcoming season.

While I didn’t agree with McNabb’s opinion on Bradford’s handling of wanting to be traded this offseason, I loved his comments on Wentz.

“Smile, you be you,” McNabb said of how Wentz should handle adversity and the booing in Philadelphia. “You’re drafted by an organization because of who you are and how you handle situations.”

Great stuff from No. 5. I’ve certainly been impressed so far by how Wentz has handled the spotlight and the way he’s conducted himself at the podium during his press conferences.

But those are just press conferences in May and June.

How will he act when he struggles and the boos reverberate throughout Lincoln Financial Field? That’s when we’ll really find out about his true character.
