Over the last few months, I have teamed up with Verizon Fios to give their cable services a test run to see how it compares versus all of the other cable options I’ve had in my life. As I have stated in my two previous blog entries, I continue to be blown away by Fios’ speed and, to be quite honest with you, lack of problems! (Which I am not complaining about). Here are a few noticeable differences between Fios and all the other options out there:
- As I have always said, the internet speed is amazing. Whether I’m playing a movie off of Netflix or playing FIFA on my PS4, there’s never any lagging. I think that’s something we can all appreciate. Whether you’re a blogger or not, the fact is, when you log on to the computer, you want your websites to pop right up. NO PINWHEEL OF DEATH!
- Switching from providers is about as easy as it gets! No lie. This was something that concerned me right from the start. I’m sure a lot of us out there prefer the same over changing, right? Well I can promise you that if you were to make the change between providers, you will be instantly happy with your decision. Be sure to speak with a Fios representative about great deals happening right now in our area! Also, be sure to search the hashtag #FiOSPhilly on all social media platforms to see I’m not the only one in Philly extremely happy about changing.
- The App! Yes, that’s right. I love the Verizon Fios app. It’s basically your portable TV remote control. Just download it to your phone and punch it up anytime you’re on the road or away from your TV to schedule recordings, find out when the Phillies are playing or what new movie HBO has playing on Saturday night! There’s a ton of reasons why its important to have a solid cable app on your phone!
Those are only a few of the details on why I fully recommend a switch to Verizon Fios if you live in the Philadelphia area! Trust me, you won’t think twice about your decision!
