Bryan Colangelo would really like to improve his team’s shooting with the likes of Joel Embiid, Ben Simmons and Dario Saric likely to play for the team this season. Well, hopefully Saric. We still haven’t had definite word on whether he’s coming over this offseason or not.
But the Sixers keep plugging along, and according to Keith Pompey, have hired away the Memphis Grizzlies’ director of player development and shooting coach, John Townsend, as their newest shooting coach. Townsend had been with the team anyway as they worked out players ahead of last week’s draft.
So if the Sixers miss any shots next season, I know who to blame.
