The Flyers struck first, but the Sixers have responded with a three-year, $27 million deal to point guard Jerryd Bayless. He’s 27 years old, and will turn 28 before the season begins.
The AP’s Jon Krawczynski reported it first.

Bayless gives the 76ers the experienced point guard they have been looking for. All 3 seasons guaranteed

Bayless, who was with the Milwaukee Bucks last season, averaged 10.4 points per game and 3.1 assists per game. Here are his career stats.
Initial thoughts: cheap compared to the contracts we’ve seen dished out to mediocre players today. Journeyman. Might not be here all three years. But it’s a start. I guess.
