Eric Lindros and John LeClair reunited in 2011 at the Winter Classic Alumni Game at Citizens Bank Park.
On Sunday, November 13, at the Air Canada Centre in Toronto, they will be reunited again. And the missing piece from 2011, Mikael Renberg, will be joining the fray to reunite the Legion of Doom line that dominated the NHL in the mid-90s. In 2011, Renberg was unable to attend the alumni game due to a prior commitment to commentate for SVT in the World Junior Championship tournament for the Sweden-Russia game.
Lindros’ team will face a team of Maple Leafs legends led by Borje Salming.
The Legends Classic occurs the same weekend Lindros and Pat Quinn are to be inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame. Lindros and LeClair were inducted into the Flyers Hall of Fame in 2014.
