It’s almost time for the Olympics. A time of national pride, competition, new world records, and, yep, brand pettiness. The 2016 Men’s Basketball squad recently lined up for their team photo, and what did Nike prioritize? Blocking out all non-Nike sneakers.
Now, in this picture, it may not seem as petty, because it was very strategically done. However, this has not always been the case. Maybe they learned from the past where they were maybe a tad too blatant in their attempts.
A USA tradition since 2008, when players lined up in reverse order so Coach K himself could block Dwight's adidas: pic.twitter.com/VKIHe1yH12

I can just imagine the meeting now where everyone is on edge because they aren’t sure if Phil Knight will notice the Adidas or Antas apparel in the picture and flip shit and start firing people. Working for a brand is a cutthroat world that sometimes is exactly like being involved in high school drama.
Yawnnnnn!
Sounds like Kyle ripping big josh on Twitter. Owned his ass
