The Philadelphia Eagles were a colossal disaster in 2015 and the disappointment of first-round pick Nelson Agholor was up near the top.
Offensive coordinator Frank Reich, however, stated during Monday’s press conference that he saw “flashes” from Agholor last year, at least in terms of his ability to beat press coverage.
Agholor ranked 121 out of 121 on Pro Football Focus’ wide receiver list. He averaged 1.8 catches, 21.8 yards and .08 touchdowns per game last year, which paled in comparison to the averages of first-round wideouts over the past decade. They racked up 3.3 catches, 44.4 yards and 0.3 scores per contest.
He can only go up in year two.
