Fletcher Cox laid out some poor offensive lineman today at practice, according to the beats, and the Internet seemed to lose its collective shit.
A dust up between o and d line. Fletcher Cox flies in from out of nowhere to clock one of the o linemen to the ground.

Fletcher Cox just cold cocked an offensive lineman who went down momentarily as Connor Barwin was entangled w/someone. #Eagles #FightClub

Big fight. Connor Barwin was getting in with an O-line man, then Cox came in from no where and absolutely nailed somebody #Eagles

No videos. No pictures. Nobody seemed to be able to find more information about what happened. Until now.
Here’s what the guys involved had to say about it. Cox appeared on WIP’s Mike and Ike Show Thursday afternoon and explained that when “your guy” is involved, you gotta get in there.
“You don’t want to fight your teammate. But, you know, Connor is basically in our room, and I’m like this, ‘If one of our guys are going, then I just gotta go.’ It’s not something that you want to see, but in training camp it happens.”
Connor Barwin also appeared on WIP and said he just decided to try and truck through Allen Barbre.
“It’s just football. It’s what happens sometimes. It’s a violent game. I had a stunt up the middle, and the back’s a little tight. So, instead of trying to run around Allen Barbre I just kind of caught all my speed and tried to run right through him right to the quarterback. I guess he didn’t appreciate that very much, so then we had some words afterwards.”
A friend who was at practice relayed this to me about the incident. Please excuse his typo(s).
