It’s been quite a day for the Eagles. Carson Wentz has a hairline fracture in his ribs and Lane Johnson is a liar.
Johnson said earlier today that the NFLPA doesn’t have its own players’ backs, and the NFLPA responded in quick fashion, saying he was factually incorrect.
Ken Sarnoff, Johnson’s agent, released the following statement, courtesy of Matt Lombardo:
“The NFLPA is paid to represent the players and put their rights and interests first. I expect the NFLPA to do what Lane and every other NFL player pays it to do. That said, I am very concerned about any leak of a player’s protected health information. The NFLPA should be troubled by this as well and I trust that it will take all appropriate steps to determine the cause of any leak and remediate this issue immediately.
Currently, it is not appropriate for me to comment on my client’s protected health information. As more information becomes publicly available, however, I will reach out to you.”
