Lane Johnson lashed out at the NFLPA for not having his back on Saturday. The NFLPA released a statement rather quickly to basically label Johnson a liar and he didn’t know what he was talking about. Johnson’s agent then released a statement later that day.
So, now we just have to wait for Johnson to get suspended, right? Well… not so fast.
The Inquirer’s Jeff McLane is reporting that Lane Johnson found out about his failed test on July 30. Doug Pederson apparently didn’t know about this until last week.
Lane Johnson said he found out about failed test on 7/30. Said he told "guys upstairs" that day. Doug Pederson said he found out last week.

That would leave us to surmise the Eagles’ front office didn’t tell Pederson about Johnson’s failed test for at least a week. That left Pederson having Johnson practice with the first team for way longer than he should have, given Pederson’s been adamant about having a Plan B just in case Johnson is suspended. What the hell was the front office doing that week?
