Tebowmania has made its way to the diamond.
On Tuesday afternoon, former NFL quarterback Tim Tebow held a workout in front of Major League Baseball scouts and a few reporters as the SEC Network analyst tries to kick-start a professional baseball career.
According to multiple reports, including this one from Yahoo Sports, Tebow was offered a a contract with a winter-ball team located in Venezuela on Monday night, the night before he was set to take the field to showcase his baseball skill set.
Multiple videos and photos surfaced on social media from the 29-year old’s session. Taylor Blake Ward of Scout.com was in attendance.
my report on Tim Tebow based on BP: inconsistent LD path, power stems from strong legs (as it should), quicker to ball than would appear

Tebow hit nine home runs during his batting practice sessions, according to Blake Ward. He shagged fly balls in center field prior to hitting.
The former Philadelphia Eagle then faced live pitching, which he struggled against, at times.

The consensus from those in attendance and from watching video, Tebow has pure strength and can hit a ball pretty far.
