Tim Tebow continues to prove his doubters wrong. The former NFL quarterback is now a professional baseball player.
It was first reported early Thursday morning that the former Philadelphia Eagle was signing a minor league deal with the New York Mets.
Mets are signing Tim Tebow to a minor-league contract, an MLB source tells ESPN. Instructional League or Arizona Fall League next for Tebow.

The team confirmed Schefter’s report later in the morning and also said where his career will begin.

The former Heisman Trophy winner held a workout for MLB scouts late last month and all 30 squads were invited, but I discussed why Tebow did not make sense for the Phillies.
Tebow isn’t heading to Philly, but he goes to an NL East team. Will the Phillies ever get to face Tebow in the bigs? It seems doubtful, but at this point it is unwise to count this man out of anything.
