Is this is a precursor of things to come?
Undrafted Philadelphia Eagles rookie wide receiver Bryce Treggs continues to see more and more snaps with the first-team offense. The speedster has yet to be active for a game, however.
“I feel like they’re comfortable with me now, where they don’t have to tell me what to do. I know the plays and I know where to be,” Treggs said via CSN Philly.
Tregg, who has 4.31 speed, was claimed by the Eagles after final cuts when the San Francisco 49ers released him. It wasn’t a popular move at the time because he took preseason fan favorite Paul Turner’s spot on the roster.

The Eagles obviously don’t have a deep threat at the moment and Treggs was eighth in the NCAA last season with a 21.2 yards per catch average. But if the Eagles are going to trot the Cal product onto the field, the offensive line is going to have to give Carson Wentz enough time for those vertical routes to develop, something we didn’t see too much of last week.
