Carson Wentz’s first career interception came at the most inopportune time.
It sealed a 24-23 Detroit Lions victory over the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday.
Head coach Doug Pederson spoke about the game-sealing pick Monday during his press conference. He stated that Jordan Matthews could have been the option on the throw. He also talked about instructing the offense to have an “our ball or nobody’s ball” mentality and Nelson Agholor certainly could’ve made a better attempt of at least preventing an interception.
