The Philadelphia Eagles finally made a decision on Josh Huff’s roster spot, it’s former CFL cornerback Aaron Grymes.

Grymes, who spent three years with the Edmonton Eskimos in the CFL, was having a tremendous Training Camp and preseason prior to the AC sprain he suffered in the Eagles’ 17-0 preseason Week 2 win over the Pittsburgh Steelers. Grymes made a ridiculous diving interception in the back right corner of the end zone in that Steelers game, the play that caused the injury. Grymes didn’t make the initial 53-man roster or practice squad, but was brought onto the practice squad following the season-ending injury to Ron Brooks.

Eagles head coach Doug Pederson referenced Leodis McKelvin’s iffy hamstring as a reason for Grymes’ promotion over Turner.
Pederson said Wednesday during his press conference that the team was considering promoting either Grymes or wide receiver Paul Turner. This was after Pederson and vice president of football operations Howie Roseman both stated last week that the Eagles would make a signing prior to the Giants game but they never did.
