The Phillies have needed an owner that’s not afraid to spend money to win. They spent a lot of money under Pat Gillick and Ruben Amaro, Jr. Well, compared to previous years, at least. And now, it seems like they have an owner who’s now the “control person” that won’t shy away from spending the money for Matt Klentak to make some good moves.
