The 87ers next game is slated for Dec. 4.
This appears to be the final step for Noel before he re-joins the Sixers, where it is assumed that he would be slowly worked in with limited minutes in his first few games in the NBA this season. The question then is: Past those few games, how many more will he play in Philadelphia?
The rumors of Noel wanting out of the City of Brotherly Love have almost been matched by the multiple reports of teams having talks or at least showing interest in the former Kentucky Wildcat. Another one of those reports surfaced on Wednesday afternoon.
According to Sam Amico of Amico Hoops, the Portland Trail Blazers have “held discussions” about Noel. Additionally, other teams have done the same about the center, according to the report.
Noel wants out and reports are that the Sixers are willing to grant his wish. We just don’t know when.
