Ryan Mathews suffered a knee injury last Sunday in Seattle and left the game. While the talk all week was that the injury wasn’t believed to be serious, even though Mathews didn’t practice, it’s serious enough that Mathews won’t suit up against the Packers at The Linc on Monday night.
With the injury to Darren Sproles’ rib, the running game won’t nearly be at full strength on Monday night.
Halapoulivaati Vaitai is also a pretty substantial loss considering he was playing well after his terrible starting debut in D.C.
