After starting 3-0, hopes were high for the Philadelphia Eagles this season. However, after losing two straight and falling to 3-2, things looked darker, especially with the birds having the toughest remaining schedule.
Anointing the Eagles schedule as the toughest was based solely on the win-loss records of opponents. What no one considered was how fresh these teams will be. For the last few weeks, people have talked about how each opponent the Eagles faced was coming off a bye or a Thursday night game. Those people weren’t just making excuses. It’s a pattern.
#Eagles opponent for four weeks straight has had 10+ days of rest. 5 NFL teams haven’t faced a single rested opp. 12 have faced only one.

Clearly that does not seem like the birds got a fair deal there, however, moving forward in the second half of the season, it equals out. The Eagles will have just as much or more rest than their opponents.
