The Flyers went down 2-0 early to the Detroit Red Wings last night, something we’re accustomed to seeing this season … a lot. Dave Hakstol has been unable to get his guys ready for the start of games so far this season, but that’s why they play 60 minutes. The Flyers own the second period and last night, they were 1:02 away from suffering another regulation loss, this time to the Detroit Red Wings.
Luckily, Mark Streit prevented that from happening, tying the game with this goal:
And then, Giroux and Voracek did this in overtime:
The Flyers are currently 5-5-1 and ARE IN A PLAYOFF POSITION! Sure, it’s the second wild card spot, and it is only November 3rd. BUT STILL!
