Noel is a restricted free agent at the end of the season after failing to sign an extension with the Sixers prior to the Oct. 31 deadline. The big man is clearly not thrilled with his situation and the logjam in the frontcourt, saying before the year that a roster featuring a trio of talented bigs wouldn’t work.
Noel made his season debut on Sunday night in Philadelphia’s 97-79 win over the Pistons in Detroit and had eight points and a steal on 3-of-5 shooting in 10 minutes before departing with an ankle sprain.

Noel, who averaged 11.1 points, 8.1 rebounds and 1.5 blocks last season, missed the first 23 games of the year due to a an elective knee surgery to address an inflamed plica above his left knee.
