The Eagles placed long snapper Jon Dorenbos (wrist), tackle Matt Tobin (knee) and running back Wendell Smallwood (knee) on injured reserve Monday and with Darren Sproles in concussion protocol, the Birds needed another running back.
In other news, Philadelphia inked tight end Anthony Denham to the practice squad and take Marshall’s spot.
