Eagles long snapper Jon Dorenbos, who suffered a season-ending wrist injury in Sunday’s loss to the Redskins, has come into the limelight in 2016. Dorenbos rose to fame with his long run in America’s Got Talent this summer and along his journey in the show we learned about his family’s background and the tragic story of the murder of his mother by his father.
On Sunday, the NFL Network aired a segment before the Eagles-Redskins game featuring Dorenbos, who recounted the story of how he found out about his mom’s murder, the ensuing trial, and how he deals with it today.
