The inductees for the Pro Football Hall of Fame Class of 2017 were announced Saturday night, and unfortunately for us, Brian Dawkins didn’t make the cut in his first year on the ballot. Many were upset, but if the “NFL experts” are any indication, he’ll get in eventually.

But perhaps the bigger shocker was that, in his second year on the ballot, Terrell Owens also didn’t make the cut for the Hall of Fame. His numbers pretty much speak volumes, and he should absolutely be a Hall of Famer. Unfortunately, what he brought to his teams in terms of his personality and off-the-field drama [luckily, he never was in legal trouble from what we know publicly], is overshadowing what he brought to his teams on the field in not only being a difference maker, but clearly one of the best wide receivers to ever play the game.
This morning on 94WIP, Glen Macnow and Ray Didinger gave their thoughts on both Dawkins and Owens being left out of Canton, at least in 2017. You can listen to the audio below.

Do you think T.O. deserves the nod into the Hall? Will Dawkins get in eventually? Sound off in the comments or on social media.
