The Philadelphia 76ers are still playing it safe with their star big man.
The team announced Wednesday that Joel Embiid will miss at least the next two games due to a left knee contusion he suffered against the Portland Trail Blazers. That means he won’t be traveling with the team to Orlando.
Medical update:

Embiid has missed his last seven games and nine of the last 10 overall. In other news, Richaun Holmes will miss Wednesday night’s game against the San Antonio Spurs with an upper respiratory infection.
