There’s always something. No matter what the event is in our city, there’s always a complaint from someone. I only expect it to come most of the time from an elder who thinks the music is too loud coming out of your earbuds. I can totally understand if there are a few people in the high-rises down in the Fairmount area that are bummed about parking. But as I always say, if you live in the city, you have to understand when the city does “city things.” Case in point… the NFL Draft!
Now for this dude by the name of Victor Fiorillo, he’s not a fan of the event. In fact, he goes on to say, “So why on earth should the city be in lockdown mode for a bunch of future rapists, domestic-assault suspects, and drunk drivers who just happen to be able to catch a ball?”
Here’s my podcast on my time in the city yesterday, speaking to Steve Smith Sr., and I start with a message to Vic.

Yeah, you can go ahead and get right the fuck out of our city, bud. You’re the sad old Philly that none of us wants around anymore. We’ve grown. We don’t need your garbage entertainment, your head injury rape festivals and your bullshit attempt at being an intellectual. We have actual people in town now. Bye!
Great f’ing time last night!! Everyone in a good mood and getting along
