Five years from now we might look back and say that Sidney Jones was the steal of the 2017 NFL Draft. That’s if he can successfully come back from a torn Achilles he suffered on his pro day.
And that’s a big if.

Prior to that freak injury, Jones was considered by many NFL Draft experts to be the No. 2 cornerback in the class, but he wound up falling to the Philadelphia Eagles in the second round and was the seventh cornerback taken off the board.
There’s a reason why he was the No. 2 cornerback available before the injury, however, the tape is pretty damn impressive. Let’s check it out …
