A Rugby star turned NFL player, this is something you don’t see every day! The Philadelphia Eagles signed 26-year-old Canadian rugby star Adam Zaruba to a three-year contract on the first day of Training Camp on Monday.
He certainly has a soft pair of mittens, as evidenced by this one-handed catch.
The 265-pound powerhouse also runs people over.

Head coach Doug Pederson didn’t give us much when asked about Zaruba following Monday’s practice.
We continue to bring guys in, work them out and see where they’re at. And that’s about all right now.
The Eagles already have three tight ends that are locks to make the roster in Zach Ertz, Brent Celek and Trey Burton, so barring injury, the goal for Zaruba will be to make the practice squad. Other tight ends currently on the roster include Anthony Denham and Billy Brown.
Zaruba took to Instagram to explain how ecstatic he is about the opportunity.
