Parks on Tap this Week: Penn Treaty Park
Parks on Tap is at Penn Treaty Park this week. The beer garden and food truck gathering will have cocktails, craft beers, savory bites, wine, and more. There will be a yoga class tomorrow from 6:30PM-7:30PM. Those who donate to the class will receive a drink ticket. Come and lay out in the hammocks or enjoy the various seating areas at the pop up beer garden.

This Week’s Center City Sips Picks: 1225 Raw Sushi and Sake, Aldine, Bar Bombon
Each Wednesday between the hours of 5PM-7PM the areas of Avenue of the Arts, Center City East, Center City West, and Rittenhouse Square participate in Center City Sips. Over 80 participating locations have $5 cocktails, $4 wines, $3 beers, and appetizer discounts. Here are this week’s best deals:
1225 Raw Sushi and Sake: 1225 Raw Sushi & Sake Lounge is a Sansom Street gem that has many specials during Center City Sips. The Asian infused restaurant has Blood Orange Kamikaze and Green Apple Remonado cocktails. They have many house wine and various dishes including shrimp skewers, spicy tuna rolls, and more discounted dishes.
Aldine: If you want some great crispy buffalo potatoes or pork chicharrones then Aldine Restaurant is for you. Here you’ll find a great Pennsylvania Apple cocktail that mixes Effen green apple vodka, whiskey, and house grenadine. You can also try the Blood Orange 75 which is a fusion of Effen blood orange, lillet, and sparkling wine.
Bar Bombon: Bar Bombon provides the Philadelphia area with an enhanced location to experience many flavorful Latin influences. This restaurant offers a completely plant-based food menu. There’s plenty of house wines and cocktails to choose from. The culinary spot also has a fantastic playa guacamole.

This Week’s Old City Eats Picks: Victoria Freehouse, Taste, Silence Dogood’s Tavern
Each Thursday between the hours of 5PM-8PM Philadelphia historic district Old City participates in Old City Eats. Over 25 participating locations have half-priced appetizers, $4 beers, $5 cocktails, and other drink specials. Here are this week’s best deals:
The Victoria Freehouse: This Front Street restaurant and bar offers something special during Old City Eats. For a starter try their bacon wrapped dates, sausage roll, pickled beetroot deviled eggs, and more. The specialty cocktail during these hours is a gin and tonic. If that’s not your drink try a Carlsberg pint or Carlsberg Shandy to pair with your meal.
Taste: Philadelphia is the land of cheesesteaks. Taste kicks it up a notch with their delectable cheesesteak egg rolls on the trendy bar’s appetizer menu. The Dock Street bar also has Faber Moscow Mules and Victory Summer Love at a friendly price each Thursday evening.
Silence Dogood’s Tavern: I might have to stop by Silence Dogood’s Tavern this Thursday just to see the size of their “Big ass Tater Tots’ on the appetizer menu. The tavern also serves a great Downeast Cider Cocktail in a trendy mason jar and a Summer in the City drink which includes mixes vodka, lemonade, and blueberries.

Boats & Glows: The Ben Franklin Yacht is hosting a Boats and Glows: Booze Cruise this Saturday from 5:30PM-9PM. The event is $68 and you’ll have access to an all-you-can-eat buffet, a souvenir t-shirt, glow in the dark accessories, and more.
Henny N Wingz: This Saturday at the B Side Complex will be having a Henny-N- Wingz party from 4PM-9PM. The event is $25 and guest will receive a multitude of wings and two shots of Hennessy. The lounge will also be hosting a Champagne Wars party on Sunday from 8PM-2AM.
Black & White Affair: Fresh out of her public war with Rob Kardashian, Blacc Chyna will be hosting a Black & White Affair this Saturday. DJ Cosmic Kev & Friends will be spinning the latest hits all night long at this blowout celebration. The event starts at 9PM.
