Each Friday the Philadelphia Museum of Art offers a stimulating brand of Happy Hour for Philadelphians. The weekly Art After 5 series mixes culture, food, and drinks in one of the most pristine settings in the city. 2. Gina Yashere
Where: Punch Line Philly, 33 E. Laurel St
When: Friday, August 11th & Saturday, August 12th
Gina Yashere will be bringing the laughs to Punch Line Philly this weekend. Yashere has performed on several shows including Live At The Apollo, Last Comic Standing, The Tonight Show, and had a one-hour comedy special on Showtime. As the first British act to ever appear on Def Comedy Jam, this performer promises a gut-splitting good time.

3. Jon Lovitz
Where: Helium Comedy Club, 2301 SansomSt.
When: Thursday, August 10th-Saturday, August 12th
Comedic entertainer and SNL alum Jon Lovitz will be doing a multi-night set at the Helium Comedy Club this weekend. Including his comedic career, Lovitz has starred in several films and key productions including A League of Their Own, Coneheads, The Producers, and more.

4. Ginuwine
Where: Theater of The Living Arts, 334 South St.
When: Friday, August 11th, 8PM
R&B singer Genuine will be performing an intimate and solo set at the Theater of The Living Arts this Friday night. Owner of eight studio albums, the “So Anxious” singer will be singing some of the past jams that shot him to massive success in the 2000’s. If your a fan of one of the greatest eras in R&B, this show is for you.

5. Khalid
Where: The Fillmore Philadelphia, 29 E. Allen St.
When: Friday, August 11th, 8PM
“Location” singer Khalid will be performing a The Philadelphia Fillmore this Friday night. The tour, supporting his 2017 American Teen album release, will be the first for the BET Best New Artist award winner. This will be a great display of one of the best young talents in alternative soul and R&B music.

6. Singin’ In the Rain
Where: Clark Park, 4300 Baltimore Ave.
When: Friday, August 11th, 7PM
Clark Park is continuing its outdoor movie screening throughout the summer. This Friday come to the community park for a free running of the classing Singin’ in the Rain. Before the film, there will be special dance lessons and performances. Afterwards get your blanket ready to watch this iconic musical.

7. Spaceballs
Where: The Oval, 2451 Benjamin Franklin Pkwy.
When: Friday, August 11th, 9PM
Not to be outdone by Clark Park, The Oval on the Ben Franklin Parkway continues to provide major events throughout the city. Every Thursday the spectacular area has a DJ fueled dance party. Om Fridays The Oval staff projects great films on the outdoor screen. This week a special and free showing of the film Spaceballs will be the main attraction.

8. Pictures in the Park
Where: Dilworth Park, 1 S. 15th St.
When: Friday, August 11th, 8:30PM
Dilworth Park also hosts a wide spectrum of events continually through the week. The park framing City Hall’s exterior offers free workouts, wine pairings on Thursday, live music almost daily, and more. This Friday night come out for a free screening of Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them. This is not a BYOB event but there will be plenty of food for sale at the café.

9. Brooklyn Brewery Beer Mansion
Where: The Woodlands Mansion, 4000 Woodland Ave.
When: Friday, August 11th & Saturday, August 12th
Speaking of sipping, the Brooklyn Brewery Beer Mansion is returning to Philadelphia for its 2017 stop this Friday and Saturday. There will be beer themed rooms, several drinking options, live music, and more. Food will be provided by Bar Amis and Revolution Taco. 10. 2nd Saturday Germantown

Historic Germantown provides an engaging event every second Saturday of each month. There’s live music, food trucks, arts and craft markets, tours of historic areas, and more. Come to the area and find great collectibles being peddled or stop by any of the local shops for some awesome deals.

11. Jazz on the Ave Music Festival

Beech Community Services presents the 11th Annual Jazz on the Ave Music Festival. Philly Soul Stock will be headlining this amazing lineup of talented local artists. Along with music there will be face painting, sculpting, food, craft vendors, wellness areas, rock climbing, and several other activities. This is a free to enter event and pay-as-you-go throughout the streets.

12. Philly Mojito March

The self-proclaimed “Greatest Mojito Celebration in the World” will be a main event in Philadelphia this Saturday. The drinking and libations festivity will include a crawl of eight local bars offering several mojito options. 13. Happy Hour & First Bank Tour

The Museum of the American Revolution has partnered with the Young Friends of Independence National Historic Park for this food, drink, and historical event. 14. Trenton Punk Flea Market at Neshaminy Creek Brewing Company

The Trenton Punk Rock Flea Market returns to the Neshaminy Creek Brewing Company this Saturday and Sunday. 15. Festival of India

The PECO Multicultural series continues this Saturday with the annual Festival of India event. 16. Chris Stapleton

Along the Camden waterfront is the BB&T Pavilion, which is one of the best outdoor concert venues in the area. This Saturday Chris Stapleton will be bringing his All American Roadshow Road Show Tour to the area to sing hits from his 2017 release From A Room: Volume 1. 18. Chestnut Hill Restaurant Week
