Despite the ongoing storyline that Ezekiel Elliott’s six-game suspension this season was about to be rescinded, or at the very least, decreased, ESPN’s Chris Mortensen is reporting that his suspension will be upheld.

According to Adam Schefter, Elliott can still file a temporary restraining order, which the court could rule on Friday. Elliott can still play this weekend. But, if not, he’ll be eligible to return to game action on October 29th against Washington.
Tom Pelissero was in court, and echoes the same sentiment.
Just got out of court and got phone back. NFL took position Ezekiel Elliott CAN play Sunday. Judge rules by 5 pm Friday on restraining order

Word of Harold Henderson's decision reached court at 7:17 when NFLPA counsel Jeff Kessler read it on his BlackBerry over 2 hrs into hearing.

Why did NFL take position Zeke could play Week 1 before Henderson ruling? I'm told they felt in this specific case, timing etc. wasn't fair.
