It has to be the most bittersweet Eagles win I’ve ever seen.
Carson Wentz, on the same day he passed Sonny Jurgensen on the all-time Eagles’ passing touchdown list with his 33rd of the season, may have tore his left ACL on a play that, in the record books, officially never happened.
Wentz left the game after tossing his fourth touchdown of the game, this one to Alshon Jeffery, a few plays after taking a vicious sandwich hit to his lower body as he dove into the end zone on a play that Lane Johnson was flagged for holding. Here’s the play where the injury happened:

Wentz threw this touchdown to Jeffery after that.

We never like speculating, especially with injuries, but when someone like Adam Schefter reports something, you listen. And, according to him, the team fears Wentz tore his ACL.
Eagles are concerned QB Carson Wentz tore his left ACL, per source.

Foles came into the game and eventually helped lead them to victory, but the feeling of a good win isn’t there. Here’s Wentz being carted out of the stadium.
