Heat Ratio: When will the Sixers’ hunt end with a star?

It’s Independence Day and Sixers are still trying to hunt for their own star. Will they find what they need? Why aren’t they the attractive landing spot they once thought they would be?

The Phillies have made tremendous strides as a young team with a new manager. With the NL East looking to be a two-dog race, should they go all in and trade for Manny Machado to make a huge playoff push? Do they make the move knowing other big suitors are out there? Are you willing to take the chance?

Two memorable Phillies, Jayson Werth and Shane Victorino have filed for retirement and leave us with many memories. What were some of your favorite or first ones that come to mind?
