Jalen Ramsey may think your quarterback is trash, but not Carson Wentz

Jacksonville Jaguars All-Pro cornerback Jalen Ramsey has a whole lot of sass and isn’t afraid to voice his opinions. In a recent interview with GQ, Ramsey shared his thoughts on a number of NFL starting quarterbacks and trashed most of them.

One he didn’t … Carson Wentz.

Here were some of the quarterbacks who felt Ramsey’s wrath.

Dak Prescott – “He’s good. He’s alright. He’s okay. I’ll put it that way. [Ezekiel Elliott] runs that team though. Everything runs around Zeke.”

Ben Roethlisberger – “Decent at best.”

Matt Ryan – “Overrated.”

Andrew Luck – “Isn’t that good.”

Josh Allen – “Allen is trash. I don’t care what nobody say. He’s trash.”

Eli Manning – “I won’t say Eli’s good.”

Jared Goff – “Average to above average.”

Joe Flacco – “Sucks.”

The two who received the most praise from Ramsey were Wentz and Deshaun Watson.

Deshaun Watson, he’ll be the league MVP in a couple years. One hundred percent. There’s not even a debate about that. Him and Carson Wentz, for every year starting now until five to ten years, it’s gonna be them two. They’re that good.

And what about Super Bowl-MVP Nick Foles?

“He won them a Super Bowl so he’s good enough to do that. He had a hella good team, too, though. But as long as you can do what the team asks you to do, then you’re straight.”

I can’t say I disagree with Ramsey’s assessments, they’re mostly spot-on! The Eagles are scheduled for a Week 8 clash with Ramsey and the Jacksonville Jaguars in London this upcoming season. Wentz and Watson will also duel for the first time when the Houston Texans visit Philadelphia in Week 16.
