By now, you’ve all heard about the Fyre Festival documentaries that are floating around on both Hulu and Netflix. Now, I have only viewed the one on Netflix and, quite frankly, that’s all they’re going to get. I don’t care who produced it, you can see how things got out of hand and the amount of DB chills that I got during the 90 minutes, I can’t take anymore.
The only question I believe is debatable, is whether or not there was EVER going to be a festival? I believe there was. But watch the docs and tell me what you think.
HOWEVER… the point of this post is to easily nail down the overall number one moment from the Netflix doc.
The HOLY SHIT moment and it really takes you on the inside on how all these wackos involved believed in operating. Allow me to set the scene.
Billy McFarland is the lead loser in all of this. He was the one that ripped everyone off but he had a huge team that assisted. Watch the doc and you’ll agree, they all could’ve and should’ve done more to warn.
So Billy had a huge shipment of Evian water, which would be the only drinkable water on the site and it was held by Bahamian officials, customs, and they supposedly said they would release it for US $175,000 in cash. So a call was made and someone was going to have to trade sexual favors for water at the Fyre Fest. Put that on your résumé.
this netflix fyre festival documentary is even dumber and funnier than I thought it would be pic.twitter.com/YDbBDU6zcy

Hilarious and a damn shame since those poor people from the Bahamas were ripped off.
UPDATE: A GoFundMe page was started to help the workers who never were paid!
