WCW’s Halloween Havoc 1997 took place on October 26, 1997 from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas. It garnered a 1.10 pay-per-view buyrate, and Nick Piccone was among those.
WCW in 1997 was red hot and the road to Starrcade was no different. With a couple of bumps along the way, however, Halloween Havoc that year was a microcosm of what was to come for WCW. Pretty good start – lame finish.
Vaughn and Nick take a deep dive into the matches, happenings, and see how a bad ending to a main event can leave a stain on a pay-per-view that, overall, wasn’t bad at all.
