Philly had the eyes of the nation on it for the past few days. After days of tallying votes in the 2020 Presidential Election, it became clear that the deciding element for the tally would run through the City of Brotherly Love. With scrutiny about the transparency of the vote, staff from both the Donald Trump and Joe Biden campaigns, an increased number of media, and millions of followers around the world looking in, Philadelphia did not disappoint.
The blocks of 12th and Arch street turned into a nonstop dance party, full of DJs, food, laughter, and banners. The base for both sides lines the intersection for passionate conversations and chants. In the end, the spirit of Philadelphia, and more importantly Gritty, prevailed.
