This week, we continue our BACKLASH FLASHBACK and head back to 2002, where nostalgia was the name of The Game for Vince McMahon.

Even though he would only hold the Undisputed WWE Championship for a month, Hollywood Hulk Hogan was on fire and we given the industry’s top championship. Again. In 2002.
This was also the first event post-WWF Draft as we would see Raw and SmackDown split the roster with Ric Flair having control over Raw and Vince McMahon having control over SmackDown. It certainly was a fairly interesting time in the World Wrestling Federation (also the last pay-per-view to use the WWF name).
