This week, we continue our BACKLASH FLASHBACK and head back to 2002, where nostalgia was the name of The Game for Vince McMahon.
See what I did there?
Even though he would only hold the Undisputed WWE Championship for a month, Hollywood Hulk Hogan was on fire and we given the industry’s top championship. Again. In 2002.
This was also the first event post-WWF Draft as we would see Raw and SmackDown split the roster with Ric Flair having control over Raw and Vince McMahon having control over SmackDown. It certainly was a fairly interesting time in the World Wrestling Federation (also the last pay-per-view to use the WWF name).
