A day after inking Zach Ertz to a five-year deal, the Eagles have re-signed Brent Celek to a three-year deal. This one has Doug Pederson written all over it.

This is interesting because Ertz’s extension made it seem like the writing would be on the wall for Celek. Celek is an OK blocker, and was used mostly for that purpose when Chip Kelly was the head coach. Now, there’s a chance in Pederson’s offense that Celek and Ertz could be a dual threat, especially with the lack of star receivers on the team.
