The Sixers’ pre-draft workouts commence today, and they’ll boast a local connection of St. Joe’s DeAndre’ Bembry and Villanova’s Josh Hart.
VCU’s Melvin Johnson, Memphis’ Dedric Lawson, Louisiana-Lafayette’s Shawn Long and Seton Hall’s Isaiah Whitehead will also be on hand to work out for the team.
The NBA Draft Lottery is tomorrow night and the Sixers could wind up with two top four picks. They had the third-worst winning percentage in NBA history this past season and have the best shot to own the number one overall pick in this year’s draft. The Sixers have a 25% chance of landing the first pick. I’d be surprised if they were able to get the Lakers’ pick, because I definitely think theirs will be in the top three.
