Last night, the NHL handed out their season’s awards at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas. Yep, the same city that’s getting an NHL franchise beginning in the 2017-18 season. We’ll have more on how that affects the Flyers’ roster in the coming weeks.
During the show, the NHL paid tribute to two legendary figures that have contributed greatly to the league’s success, Ed Snider and Gordie Howe. NHL commissioner, Gary Bettman, and Virlen Reyes, an Ed Snider Youth Hockey Foundation alumnus, paid great tribute to the founder of the Flyers. You can watch it below.
