Bad snaps seem to have haunted Jason Kelce for two years now.
Except head coach Doug Pederson said Monday that the snaps were more on the Carson Wentz than Kelce.
“A little bit center, a lot of it quarterback, actually. It’s something as a quarterback he just took his eyes off the ball, was looking at his read,” Pederson said. “Kelce wasn’t perfect. A few were off to the right.”
Interesting.
The Eagles were able to get away with a couple yesterday. Wentz picked up a 4th-and-2 with his legs along the left edge following a bobble and was unable to handle another snap on Philadelphia’s opening drive of the third quarter, but quickly rolled to his right and flipped a 19-yard completion to Darren Sproles.
