After having officials who average a lot of penalties called per game for a few straight weeks, the Eagles have now been assigned officials who average among the least called penalties per game in the NFL, including Sunday’s game against the Atlanta Falcons.
Craig Wrolstad is the referee for the Eagles-Falcons match-up.
According to ESPN Stats & Info, Wrolstad averages 14.1 penalties per game, which is the third lowest average in the NFL. Pete Morelli and Bill Vinovich, who the Eagles just had, are the only referees who average few penalties per game.
These figures include penalties that are accepted, offsetting, and declined.
Wrolstad and his crew had off last week.
