1. ECAC Division III Football Bowl Championships
Where: Franklin Field, 235 S 33rd St.
When: Friday, November 18th through Sunday, November 20th, game times vary
The Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) will be holding their Division III Football Bowl Championships at historic Franklin Field this weekend. The stadium, etched in the campus of the University of Pennsylvania, will showcase 12 teams, competing in 6 bowl games, over the span of 3 days. Games are scheduled for 3 p.m. and 7 p.m. on Friday and for 12 p.m. and 5 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday. Come watch these thrilling games as teams seek to grasp the ultimate prize of a championship and glory.

2. Anna Kendrick
Where: Irvine Auditorium, 3401 Spruce St.
When: Friday, November 18th ,7PM
SPEC Connaissance Presents: An Evening with Anna Kendrick. This moderated Q & A will bring Anna Kendrick to the city of Philadelphia this Friday night. The American actress, author, and singer has launched a successful career in the entertainment industry for well over a decade. For this special evening , fans and audience members can interact with her and engage Kendrick on various topics. Tickets are $10 for Penn students and $40 for non-Penn admissions.

3. Tom Segura
Where: Trocadero Theater, 1003 Arch St.
When: Friday, November 18th and Saturday, November 19th, 10:30PM
Ohio comedian Tom Segura brings his stand-up routine to The Trocadero Theater this weekend. The travelling funnyman has multiple shows during his two-night series at the venue. This year Segura released a one hour special through Netflix named Tom Segura: Mostly Stories. He was a regional finalist for Last Comic Standing 2 and he has performed at several comedy specials around the world. Tickets for this event are $29 for general admission and $45 for VIP.

4. Philadelphia Marathon
Where: Ben Franklin Parkway
When: Friday, November 18th-Sunday, November 20th
The Philadelphia Marathon surges through the city this weekend. The three-day endurance and exciting event is compelling for both the runners and the spectators. There are several races, including a half marathon on Saturday and the Rothman Institute 8K on Sunday. There will also be children races on Saturday. Prize money, trophies, and awards will be up for grabs at this showcase of durability and stamina.

5. D.L. Hughley

D.L. Hughley is has made his mark on the comedic world via stand-up, film, radio, and television. From being the host of BET’s ComicView, his ABC sitcom, to the successful stand-up series The Original Kings of Comedy, Hughley is easily one of the most recognizable faces in comedy. He currently hosts a morning talk show on New York’s WRKS-FM. From Friday through Sunday, Hughley will bring his sharp banter and wild show to the Helium Club. 6. PHILADANCO Winter Concert Series
Where: Kimmel Center, 300 S Broad St.
When: Friday, November 18th-Sunday, November 20th
PHILADANCO and The Kimmel Center present “Straight Outta Philly”. The three-day display of the company’s winter series is a performance that shouldn’t be missed. The collaboration with Rennie Harris Puremovement merges and marries hip-hop and ballet on stage. 7. Franklin Flea Holiday Market

This holiday treasure is a yearly occurrence. Nested inside the historic Strawbridge’s Building, this event will allow shoppers to get a jump on their holiday gifts. Here you’ll find handmade treasures and collectables for all. There will me antique merchants, food vendors, and one of a kind crafts for the entire family. This will be a great gathering to obtain meaningful gifts for the holiday season and it will be a chance to see what the city’s crafters are all about.

8. National Dog Show
Where: The Greater Philadelphia Expo Center, 100 Station Ave. Oaks, PA

Man’s best friend deserves to shine sometimes. The Kennel Club of Philadelphia will be hosting a two benched and all-breed dog show this Saturday in Oaks, PA. The show will help raise funds for many canine improvement projects and charities. Presented by Purina, this show has been around since 1876 and will be broadcasted nationwide this Thanksgiving on NBC. There will be many dog exhibitions and family-friendly activities going on throughout the day. Tickets are $16.

9. Trevor Noah: Born A Crime

South African comedian, actor, author, and television and radio host, Trevor Noah will be in Philadelphia this Saturday. The current host of Comedy Central’s The Daily Show will be exploring his latest book at The Free Library of Philadelphia. The work titled “Born A Crime”, depicts this rising star’s coming of age story. The book details his life in an Apartheid ridden country and his journey towards success. Come hear Noah tells his own story and craft a tangible first-hand account of his life that reaches beyond the text.

10. Birdman Screening and Live Score
Where: Zellerbach Theatre, 3680 Walnut St.

University of Pennsylvania’s Annenberg Center presents this amazing night where film gets highlighted by the stirs of live music. Attendees in the Zellerbach Theatre will get to watch the 2015 Academy Award winning feature, Birdman or The Unexpected Virtue of Ignorance. The Michael Keaton starring drama received acclaim not only for its plot but its fantastic musical score. 11. Radio 104.5 Presents Two Door Cinema Club

Local radio station 104.5 brings the Northern Ireland band Two Door Cinema Club to Philadelphia this Saturday night. The indie rock and dance-punk three member band recently released their studio album. Three singles have hit the radio since Gameshow was released on October 14th. The band has had many high -profile performances this year including a set at the famed Glastonbury festival. New Zealand electronica duo Broods will be opening for the band.

12. Lil Pop Shop Holiday Tasting

Lil’ Pop Shop has been providing batches of artisan ice pops and handcrafted treats to the city for years. This weekend, they will be having a holiday tasting for their fresh and invigorating snacks. The Lil Pop (UP) Holiday Celebration will be held at the Rittenhouse Square location. They will showcase Philly-based artists. 13. West Chester Craft Beer and Restaurant Stroll

The craft beer and restaurant stroll cycle makes its stop in West Chester this weekend. Many amazing local restaurants and bars will open their doors for this specialty menu event. Attendees will receive a keepsake crawl mug and a custom crawl map There will be $3 craft beer specials and discounted food at each location. Each venue will have at least two craft beer samples. 14. Turkey Bowl South Bowl

South Philadelphia bowling entertainment favorite South Bowl presents this Turkey Bowl event. There is a $25 buy in that will go into a winning pot. This will be an 8 pin No-Tap Singles Tournament, which means 8 pins and up equal a strike. 1st place takes the entire money pot, 2nd place gets a gift card to either North or South Bowl, and 3rd place takes a bottle of Wild Turkey. 15. Turkey Day Tailgate

This is the 3rd year for this Thanksgiving themed event. Crabby Café and Sports Bar will be hosting tailgate that promises to be better than ever. The Phan Cave tailgate will have a 400 ft. projection screen, a turkey cook off, several food and drink options, and many activities. The cook off judges include Bex is My name from 96.5 AMP Radio, Tony Luke Jr, Geno Vento, and more.
