The Eagles enter prime time tonight when the Doug Pederson and company welcome the Green Bay Packers to Lincoln Financial Field on Monday Night Football. According to FootballZebras.com, Terry McAulay will be the referee for Monday night’s contest.
Heading into last week’s slate of games, McAulay averaged the highest amount of accepted, declined, or offsetting penalties in the NFL, according to ESPN Stats & Info. McAulay reffed the Bills-Bengals game in week 11 where there were 13 accepted penalties totaling 100 yards combined between the two squads.
McAulay varies a bit in the frequency of penalties, which were accepted, in games this season. According to Pro Football Rerference, McAulay has worked games which had as little as 11 accepted penalties or as many as 29.
Which McAulay shows up on Monday night? We’ll have to wait and see.
