Here’s a good way to take you into the weekend. You may or may not have heard this gem on SportsCenter the other day:

Some takeaways from the audio:

1. We all know now where Jade McCarthy goes for her sports talk when she’s in town.
2. Nice save by Sal Pal, but he is a paid employee of 97.5 The Fanatic.
3. WIP is now using this sound in one of their running promos which is interesting because an inside source told me, “For the first time ever, WIP is mentioning ESPN/97.5 The Fanatic as a station – aside from Josh Innes.” Of course, the promo cuts short before our pal Sal mentions the station he works for.
