1. The Philly Pops Presents: Ella, Louis & All That Jazz
Where: Verizon Hall in the Kimmel Center, 300 S. Broad St.
When: Friday, March 31st-Sunday, April 2nd, various times
Ella Fitzgerald’s 100th birthday will be heralded in the month of April. In celebration, The Philly Pops will be covering the best from this iconic jazz vocalist and more. The orchestra will also fill Verizon Hall with swinging and rhythmic tunes from Fitzgerald’s legendary collaborator Louis Armstrong. There will be guest artists performing as well. Come see Pops jazz trumpeter Byron Stripling and singer Marva Hicks serenade the audience.

2. Philadelphia Furniture Show
Where: 23rd Street Armory, 22 S. 23rd St.
When: Friday, March 31st-Sunday, April 2nd
In its 22nd year, the Philadelphia Furniture Show will take over the Rittenhouse Square area this weekend. There will be a kickoff preview party event this Friday from 6-9pm. On Saturday and Sunday, the event opens its doors to the public at 10am. This special and fabulous artisan furniture event will have several handcrafted and specialized pieces on display.

3. Final Fridays: Rebel, Rebel
Where: Philadelphia Museum of Art, 2600 Benjamin Franklin Pkwy.
When: Friday, March 31st, 5PM-8:45PM
The Philadelphia Museum of Art has been hosting the “Art After 5” series for months. This perfect blend of art and music will jolt your Friday evening. There will be a poetry workshop, revamped gallery tours, a dance performance from Brian Sanders’ JUNK, DJ Lil Dave will be spinning tunes, and so much more. This Friday will thematically celebrate creative pranksters in art history including Marcel Dechamp.

4. XPN Music Film Festival
Where: Prince Theater, 1412 Chestnut St.
When: Friday, March 31st-Sunday, April 2nd, various times
The Philadelphia Film Society will be celebrating the 25th anniversaries of Philadelphia Film Festival and the World Café Live Music Radio Program this weekend. This exquisite film festival will be highlighting and commemorating some of the best music films over the last 40 years. 5. Bon Jovi

New Jersey native and rock royalty Bon Jovi will be igniting the Wells Fargo Center this Friday. The “Livin On a Prayer” and “It’s My Life” band released their thirteenth studio album last year. Lead singer Jon Bon Jovi will be wooing the crowd with a range of his many hits and some amazing new material.

6. Rachel Feinstein
Where: Punch Line Philly, 33 E Laurel St.

This entertaining comedian can be seen in several productions including the films Top Five, Trainwreck, and the Amazon series Red Oaks. Rachel Feinstein has tours the US and shocked audiences with her edgy brand of comedy. This in your face comedian will be doing multiple shows at Punch Line Philly this weekend that you don’t want to miss.

7. TEDxPenn
Where: Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts, 3680 Walnut St.

This year the theme of TEDxPenn is “Rise and Run”. This engaging event will have a wide range of notable speakers from various fields. Come hear these pioneering conversations about advancement from creators, entrepreneurs, and innovators. This will be a great event that brings science, tech, and design to the front of the podium.

8. Neshaminy Mall Spring Fling
Where: Neshaminy Mall, 707 Neshaminy Mall, Bensalem PA
When: Saturday, April 1st, 10AM-9PM
The first weekend in April will be rung in at this family fun event. The Neshaminy Mall will be hosting a Spring Fling. There will be an exotic animal show provided by Jungle Joe’s Wildlife, a magic show, face paining, costumed characters, live music, shopping and vendors, balloon art, and many more fun activities.

9. Cherry Blossom Festival
Where: Various locations
When: Saturday, April 1st-Sunday, April 9th
Presented by Subaru, this annual festival embraces and illustrates the richness of tradition and culture. Over 1,000 trees will be blossoming throughout the city. Each location participating in this multi-day celebration will have several events including live music, artistic performances, ceremonial drumming, origami and sushi making, and more. The Shofuso Japanese House and Garden will have its opening and will be hosting several tours throughout the beautiful structure.

10. The Beach Boys
Where: Keswick Theater, 291 N. Keswick Ave. Glenside, PA
When: Saturday, April 1st, 3PM & 8PM
International and famed band The Beach Bock will be featured at two headlining shows at the Keswick Theater this Saturday. The kings of the surf pop sound are musical pioneers. The Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award winners were named 12th on Rolling Stone Magazine’s 100 Greatest Artists of All Time list. The “Good Vibrations” band has something musically unique and memorable to add to your Saturday.

11. Delaware County Wine & Chocolate Festival
Where: Barnaby’s of Ridley, 2107 MacDade Blvd. Holmes, PA
When: Saturday, April 1st, 2PM-5PM
Delaware County is holding its first ever wine & chocolate festival. Local chocolatiers and wineries will show off their collection of savory treats and bold wines. There will be more than 30 reds and whites to choose from. The festival will have live music and each attendee will go home with a commemorative wine glass. 12. Wissahickon Brewing Company Grand Opening
Where: Wissahickon Brewing Company, 3705 W. School House Lane.

The Wissahickon Brewing Company will be hosting a grand opening event this Saturday. There will be food trucks and of course a great selection of beers. 13. Conshohocken Brewing Company 3rd Anniversary Party
Where: Conshohocken Brewing Company, 739 E. Elm St.
When: Saturday, April 1st, 11AM-Midnight
It’s an annual party like no other. The Conshohocken Brewing Company will be celebrating their 3rd anniversary with an all-day party. Before the party there will be a trail cleanup through Conshohocken at 9:30 am. Later on in the day there will be a new food menu, brewery gear giveaways, and a multitude of drink specials.

14. Flyers Vs. Devils
Where: Wells Fargo Center, 3601 S. Broad St.
When: Saturday, April 1st, 7PM
The Philadelphia Flyers take on the New Jersey Devils this Saturday night at the Wells Fargo Center. The two teams last squared off on March 16th. Philly looks to avenge the 6-2 embarrassing loss from weeks ago. This will be the third consecutive home game for the Flyers as try to keep the momentum going and finish out the season strong.

15. Films at AAMP: A Moving Image
Where: African American Museum in Philadelphia,
When: Saturday, April 1st, 8PM
The African American Museum in Philadelphia hosts a special screening of the feature film A Moving Image. London filmmaker and award winner Shola Amoo’s work centers on gentrification and community strife in the town of Brixton. There will be an open gallery hour at 5 p.m. and after the screening Shola Amoo will be doing a Q&A.

16. The 2017 Red Ball
Where: Lincoln Financial Field, One Lincoln Financial Field Way.
When: Saturday, April 1st, 8PM
The American Red Cross will be hosting their annual red-tie fundraiser at Lincoln Financial Field this Saturday night. There will be dancing, live music and entertainment, a silent auction, and much more. All the funds from the gala will go to the Red Cross House center for Disaster Recovery and local disaster relief.

17. Kehlani

R&B singer Kehlani will be bringing her expressive lyricism and smooth vocals to Philly this weekend. The “SweetSexySavage Tour” makes its stop at Union Transfer to promote singer’s debut album. The mixtape You Should Be Here garnered Kehlani critical acclaim and surging success in 2014. The EP led to her first Grammy nomination. and commercial notoriety. 18. 22nd Annual Donor Dash
Where: Eakins Oval, 2451 Benjamin Franklin Pkwy
When: Sunday, April 2nd, 7AM
Gift of Life will be hosting thousands of runners and participants for a good cause. In its 22nd year, this fundraiser helps raise money for organ donation awareness. There will be five runs throughout the day including a 10K, 5K, kids fun run, and a 3K walk. With more than 5,400 people in our region in need of a transplant, this run will help educate the community and spread the word for those in need.

19. Museum Sundays

Every first Sunday of the moth its pay-what-you-wish at the Philadelphia Museum of Art and free admission into The Barnes Foundation.
