The undrafted free agent McGloin made six starts as a rookie in 2013, but has only made one since during his four-year NFL career, serving as the backup to Derek Carr in Oakland. McGloin has 11 career touchdowns and interceptions.
Philadelphia, of course, brought in Nick Foles a few weeks ago to be the backup quarterback to Carson Wentz, replacing Chase Daniel, who was released.
The signing of McGloin still doesn’t rule out the possibility of the Eagles adding a quarterback via the draft because McGloin isn’t guaranteed a roster spot.
