Doug Pederson reportedly picked Mike Groh over Duce Staley for the Philadelphia Eagles’ offensive coordinator position earlier on Tuesday, but Staley will be receiving a promotion as well.
According to ESPN’s Josina Anderson, Staley’s new title will be assistant head coach/running backs.

Staley has been the team’s running backs coach since 2013 following a two-year stint as a special teams quality control coach. He was also a running back with Philadelphia from 1997-2003. Former Eagles running back LeSean McCoy went to bat for his former running backs coach Monday, stating that Staley deserved an opportunity as the offensive coordinator.
